Sacramento-based Ruby Dot Designs is Kim Farrens, who created Ruby Dot Designs because she wanted to create products that would connect people with fun, personalized gifts.  The name was inspired by Kim's oldest daughter, Ruby.  She was named for the gem, which represents love, loyalty, energy, good fortune amongst many of positive things that help to connect us with one another.
