- What is happening the week of March 28-April 3?
Just a heads up that during this week of spring break, the shop will be closed for appointments/pickups/delivery from WEDNESDAY, 3/30 TO FRIDAY, 4/2. The online store is always open but pick up is only on Tuesday, 3/29 from 12noon-5pm and again on Saturday, 4/3, 11am-5pm. We may also be able to deliver on Friday, 4/2, and Saturday, 4/3, with prior arrangement--just ask! - When will my order be ready?
We do our best to get your orders to you as quickly as possible: right now, fulfillment for curbside pick up is about a day. If you need your order by a certain time please leave a message for us at checkout or text 916-799-5736 to let us know. We will do our very best. If you leave us your phone number, we will text you with instructions about pick up when your order is ready. Please read about the special situation happening for this spring break week above.
If you chose DELIVERY, we are generally delivering on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you need other arrangements, please let us know.
For SHIPPING, we try to ship out within 2-3 business days and use priority or first class meaning 2-3 days for delivery. Of course, once we drop off at the post office, it is out of our hands and we have no control over weather or other possible delays.
- Is the storefront OPEN?
The storefront is open for pick up of online purchases and in-person shopping with an appointment. You can click HERE to find out more information about appointment shopping or to make an appointment. Contact-less porch pick up is available Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-6pm. Appointment shopping is available in 45-minute time slots Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-6pm. The online store is open 24/7 to shop. Click HERE to shop now.
- Can I order online and pick up at the store?
Yes! At checkout, you will be given an option to choose Porch Pick Up or Free Local Delivery (with $25 min purchase; no min purchase for porch pickup) if your shipping address is in California. Click on the option of your choice: Contactless Porch Pick Up OR Free Local Delivery (see the answer to the next question to see if you are in the Delivery Zone).
- What is considered "LOCAL" for "Free Local Delivery"?
We are happy to deliver your purchase to you if you are within our local delivery zone and have met a $25 purchase minimum. We deliver to East Sac, College Greens, Tahoe Park, River Park, Land Park, Curtis Park, the Pocket, Greenhaven, Arden Arcade, McKinley Village, Oak Park, Midtown and Downtown. - How quickly can I get my order?
During non-holiday times or when there are no special circumstances, orders placed before 4:30pm Tuesday-Saturday can usually be picked up same day. Just give us 15-20 minutes to pull the order together. If you include your phone number, we will text you that your order is ready for pick up. Once you arrive at the store (1462 33rd Street), you can text/call 916-799-5736 and we can bring your purchase out to you or you can just knock on the door to let us know you're there.
- How do I pick up my order if I want to pick up at the store?
If you give us your phone number, we will text you when the order is ready to be picked up (otherwise we will email you at the provided email address). Once you arrive at 1462 33rd Street to pick up your order, call/text us at 916-799-5736 and we will bring your purchase out to your car. Come up to the door if its taking too long--we may be helping other customers and missed your text or call.
- How do I make an appointment to shop?

- My purchase is a gift: Can you gift wrap/add a message/deliver to them?
We love helping you out with your gifts! We offer complimentary gift bagging with tissue and ribbon free of charge. If you would like to add a gift message, please add that information in the COMMENTS box at checkout. Any special instructions about gift wrap, gift bagging, gift messages can be left in the COMMENTS box at checkout. You can also ask us to contact you if there are special instructions that you would like to relay to us. Gifts can also be delivered to recipients who live in our delivery zone free of charge. - I need a ___ but I don't see it on the website; Do you have a ____?
We are working hard to get more and more of our inventory online, but its a big task that is constantly ongoing.
